After every Zero-Blast Ozone treatment Syndicate applies our After Blast spray and a patented, EPA registered, surface protectant that kills microbes for up to 90 days. This proven technology inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungus and mold on treated surfaces and is part of a regular sports hygiene program. The product bonds to both hard and soft surfaces and does not leach or flake off.
There is no substitute for airing out equipment and proper personal hygiene, however, know that there is an extra layer of protection between you and germs. We cannot offer a warranty or guarantee that players can’t contract bacterial infection because there are many factors besides sports equipment that can lead to bacterial infection. Also, if equipment isn’t properly cared for barriers can be created between the surface protectant and your skin. So be smart about your gear and hygiene. Tips for extending the value of our service:
- Air out your gear & bag after every use by hanging it
- Use a fan to decrease drying time
- Wipe your equipment with sanitizing wipes safe for your skin to remove dead skin cells that are bacteria food
- Remove jerseys, socks and other soft items from your bag and wash them after every use
- If washing soft items is not an option store them separately from your equipment in a ventilated bag or hang them
- Shower after sport activities
